Shabnam is a specialist in pediatric dentistry (graduated in 2016) who was born and raised in Iran. She used to work as an Assistant Professor and pedodontist before moving to Canada in February 2022. She believes in lifelong learning and always challenges herself with new things. Shabnam has always been interested in learning more about Indigenous culture and core beliefs and she thinks that joining the IGHRG has helped her to become one step closer to one of her goals.

She loves nature, science, languages, travel, reading, baking, and handcrafts. In the long run, she wants to travel all around the world, become a volunteer to work with animals, and work as a pediatric dentist in remote areas.
